Sold Out

Indians love their melas, which is the Sanskrit word meaning 'gatherings' or 'to meet'. This pendant is the meeting of six different sized circles with various geometric faceted cut gemstones. It reminds Mousumi of the amazing diversity found within India and its people. Melas happen in both large and small towns and at home and abroad. You may find Bengali Melas in NYC today or a Gujrati Mela in London. They can be religious, cultural celebrations or more commercial / sports. Please note that the gemstones will vary in shapes and stones from piece to piece as they are all handcrafted. Stones will include a combination of blue topaz, amethyst, garnet, citrine, peridot, iolite, black onyx, labradorite or white moonstone. This piece can be worn with a snake chain or flexi wire, which are sold separately. This piece is sure to bring complements as it's very unique and bold!
