Young Se Kim was born in Seoul in 1950. He received a BFA in Industrial Design from Seoul National University. He also received an MFA in Industrial Design from university of Illinois at Chicago. Young Se Kim founded INNO-DESIGN, Inc. of Palo Alto, CA in 1985 and INNO-DESIGN Korea of Seoul in 1999. The company has grown to a multinational design consulting organization. He also launched the designer brand, by INNO, and he is actively developing this design collection as a brand which the majority of people can easily enjoy and become friendly with. These circular cufflinks feature black and white enamel inlay with sterling silver geometric design. "Taeguk" refers to the detailed patterns of defense or attack in Taekwondo, making the highly stylized cufflinks a sharp addition to the classic suit.
