Kimmie began her start in the industry as a fit model for various brands. As she attended casting calls where she was asked to wear various looks, accessories became the key way that she could differentiate herself from others that were also attending go sees. Her love for accessories that were bold and conversation starters allowed her to write a blog that focused on this portion of fashion. This passion for accessories allowed her to create Kitten Couture, a jewelry line of handmade lariats that are made from natural stone and sea shell. From there she worked with Visual Merchandising and became the Editor in Chief of Kitten Lounge which combined her love for fashion, style, beauty, food, music (as the great niece to jazz tenor saxophonist, Joe Henderson - she felt that it was important to embrace her love for this art) and travel. She also consults with fashion brands on their social strategies as she believes that Social Media is an essential element to any brand's success.

Due to her appearances at such events as Fashion Week, fashion trade shows and such shows at To Be a Star where she appeared as a Style Mentor, Kimmie was approached by those who were interested in updating their looks and using her keen eye. As a stylist, Kimmie enhances her clients with her passion in accessories while also ensuring that their desired look is met with a few key pieces that they may not have considered.

In addition to her love of fashion, it has been her extreme interest and promotion of Social Media that has allowed her to work with various brands within a number of her projects. She has had the pleasure of working with various clients within fashion and entertainment to create a Social Strategy that works for them. Just as it is essential to dress the part, it's important to have brand alignment within your social networks to enhance optimum social engagement. In this way, Kimmie serves as a Digital Strategist consulting with her brands.
